I've got to say I'm really glad I found this trail area on trailforks. In spite of the complaints about horse poop, I decided to give this easily...

Okay, my first time out at Taylor and after seeing all of these blue square intermediate trails listed on this site, I was sorely disappointed. Yes, it is a beautiful mountain and the climbs can be steep, but the trails are featureless aside from having to dodge horse dung. Virtually no roots, rocks or technical features on most of these trails out here. How is that possible, when directly across the road Tiger mountain has just fantastic gnarl? At most, these are easy green square trails with a three-star grunt rating.
