This multi-user trail runs gently downhill from the Entertainment Traillforks.com/trails/entertainment-trail-doubletrack/]Entertainment Trail doubletrack[/L] on the Mount Ascension ridge, and ties into the Mt Ascension Loop Trail just above Cruse Control. The Montana Bicycle Guild proposed this trail to the City to make the directional trails easier to access, and to reduce the potential for user conflict on the existing access routes.
Blackfoot River Brewing Company funded the trail construction using the proceeds from the 2024 Five Ridges Challenge, and Helena Ales for Trails contributed additional funding. The name Hoppiness celebrates both the funders and the fun jump options along the trail.
