This is the main trail above Ice Plant Canyon. There are various options and side trails for riding this, including a shuttle from the top. The trail is mostly smooth downhill with some rocky areas, a few features, and optional jumps at the bottom end. The upper half is steeper than the lower. Traffic moves both directions, so be mindful of others.

It's a steep climb but the down is fast and fun.

If you do any shuttle in Ely and can't make it up Squaw Peak for Whorehouse DH), do this one. You can get within a 15 min pedal to the top of the trail in a 2WD car, and this trail is the best bang for your buck, shuttle-wise. It's fast, flowy, and showcases all the best parts of riding in Ely.

The canyon and surrounding high country were beautiful! The “DH” lower area wasn’t that impressive... sandy gap jumps over water culverts. Also tons of glass at the non-descript difficult to find parking area.
