This doubletrack trail was originally constructed to provide snowmobile access to the ski lodge from Laurel Summit Road.

It begins at Laurel Summit Road, just south of the main parking area and extends to the ski area access road beside the Bureau of Forestry maintenance building. This trail provides access to Lippo’s Loop and to an unnamed singletrack trail that extends past the ski lodge.

Not officially named or signed.

Access Info

Due to the nature of the soil and the ridge top location the Laurel Mountain Trail System should be avoided after it has recently rained. This a also a great place to cross country ski in the winter since the Laurel Ridge gets more snow than anywhere else Trails are closed to biking during snow cover.
