The starting trail from the parking lot trailhead, this is where riders start the Alpine Valley loop and gain access to all of the other trails on the mountain. Some pieces can be by-passed by riding up the ski hills, but this tight and twisted single track is much more fun. Most the climbs are punchy and quickly linked with flat or downhill sections. Roots and logs make the trail even more interesting

Access Info

Starts to the right of the trailhead where a blue "Mountain Bike" sign marks the start of the single track. It transitions into Alp Elkhorn if you continue onward past the split for Swoops and Whoops.

Disclaimer

There are a couple crossing by downhill trails so it pays to watch for riders above you that may have a tougher time stopping.
