Definitely a cross country setup to simply get miles. Nothing really tricky or technically challenging. No trees or cover. This entire setup is in the open so watch the wether. All the switchbacks seem to have cut through to the next one so if you want you can simply bypass ones you don’t want to do. Kudos to the town for putting in something to ride! Does not seem used very much. Evidence of horseback riding and some motorcycle use even though the sign says it isn’t authorized.

Wonderful to have an MTB trail right in Gillette. It is a XC trail, so kind of boring. The rock garden area is worth sessioning a bit tho. Otherwise think switchbacks in a lumpy pasture. There is future potential in the gullies surrounded by this loop.
