The Jackfork Mountain Biking Trail is a wonderful intermediate to advanced mountain biking trail through a rarely seen part of the park. Several interesting bridges along with climbs into the rocky slopes of the Fulk Mountains are memorable parts of this trail. The recommended direction is clockwise.

For a little more mileage, use the connector trail in the southwest portion to take a spin on the Rabbit Ridge Trail.

Although the map shows starting at the southeast section, there is no parking there, that trailhead is for those riding to the trail from town on the Arkansas River Trail. If driving to the trail, park in the parking lot near the park visitor center.

I agree with the comment on rebuilding these trails. Hopefully they get some real professionals to build the new singletrack on Rattlesnake Ridge, considering all of that land was donated... Get your sht together Little Rock! Build nice trails that people will travel from all over to ride. It will pay off in the long run

Little Rock is starving for some quality MTB trails. While this trail is a fun ride, I would say it needs a professional trail builder to go in and rebuild. Too many switchbacks in too small of an area. You can never really build a l lot of speed. That is probably just the area the park gave to the trail builder so they were making the most but It needs some long straight lines that ride the hill more and offer broad switchbacks. Honestly if the NWA based trail builder came in and built a master plan for the park with 3 times the trails it would serve Little Rock well

This is a great trail for folks looking for a bit more challenging climb than most other trails in the Little Rock area have to offer. There are no big step ups or features to navigate at any point in the ride, but if done in the clockwise direction you will find yourself on some steep rock garden climbs that will push the limits of your wattage and balance. The downside is that these climbs are not rewarded by the most exciting downhills, as the trail gets bunched up and claustrophobic, stifling your speed with tight switchbacks and handlebar-hungry trees. If only there were a few big features to send that would break up the monotony. All in all this is a great little hour long sprint that will leave you a better rider for mastering. Not bad for a trail in our own backyard.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
