Jagged Axe is a fun, difficult downhill trail used in the 2016 Big Mountain Enduro. There are numerous drops on the trail, most with a B-line, as well a short rocky ridge section that can be intimidating at speed. The trail is best accessed by a purpose built singletrack that gains the ridgeline that Jagged Axe largely adheres to.

A contender for my top 3 fav trials. I usually ride in Washington State / PNW. Rode this on a trip through CO & NM. This trail is so funn. So unique , so good.
Definitely a black but all "holy crap" spots are either 1. Walkable or 2 have a B line. You can definitely scope out most sections before you send.

This is definitely a black or a double black, but all the big features have a B line. This trail is insanely fun, and was my favorite trail of the four trails I did at the Revolution Enduro race in 2023. It's pretty steep, but not so steep that you have to ride the brakes the whole time. There are some BIG greek gaps and drops, but all are option. The capstone "chute" on this trail is pretty scary looking, but really not bad to drop into. Speed is your friend.

adding my notes here since the comments are pretty sparse. i’m an intermediate/advanced rider and had some concerns this trail would be outside my abilities. have ridden this, i agree with the black rating. features are either crazy or mandatory, but not both. if you’re riding black trails regularly, everything is ridable or has a b line. this trail also feel significantly steeper and more sustained than chili dog. expect to be on your brakes the entire time and all the challenging features happen while going downhill. if you like steeps id recommend this over chili dog, but the climb is a bit longer
