This is a legacy trail, built back in the 90's and enduring until today. The terrain is a mix of hills and switchbacks with roots and rollers. Many rollers and jumps are carpeted to control erosion. Along the SE you will find the Key Biscayne Drop Technical Feature which is a long descent with a hard right berm. This TTF becomes a hard climb for 6 months of the year after trail reversal. Nestled deep within you will find the Magic Carpet feature which is a 200' section of Pucker Factor inducing elevated trail with technical elevation change as well as a mosaic of rubber and textile carpets which change the texture you feel under your tires.

As this is a legacy trail, for the time being we do not have machine access for many trails therefore a lot of the features are old school and a bit on the sketchy side. This can be disconcerting for beginners looking to make the transition to intermediate.

Access Info

It is part of the trail system and it's entry and exit are contiguous to other trails. It can be reached via the Tree Line Trail on the South and the Diagonal Trail on the North. Connecting trails are Potato Vine and Gobble Gobble. Magic Carpet is only accessible inside the trail, and it is inline with the riding path. For now it is mandatory but we are working on a bypass trail.

Disclaimer

Be sure to pre-ride the trail and walk any sections if needed before Full Sending it.
