A few soaking wet parts, but a majority of the trail drying up. Fun, slippery, and fast today. Two trees down before you get to the first river...

Keyauwee is the trail to ride at Uwharrie. Good flow, climbing and descending. A few log rides to challenge. No jumps. Take Keyauwee to Wood Run which is super fast and flowy then the fire road to the main lot. You most likely will start out on Supertree - which should be called Super-scree in some places because it is just a fire road with gravel. SO lame. There are a few moments where the trail gets challenging and is single track. But it really lacks ambition when compared to Keyauwee. Overall the three trails are just a hair over 12 miles. There are hiking-only trails that weave in and out (dutchman's creek trail) I wound up on a yellow blazed trail accidentally at the beginning of the ride east of Supertree. Be careful to avoid those trails.
