It should only be ridden in dry conditions as the mud can be terrible. It features fast singletrack, technical climbs and some technical and fast downhills. There are a number of creek crossings .kangaroos, goannas, brumbies and various birds are common sights.
Off the Old Bump Road, near the Rifle Creek crossing. Can park at Rifle creek and do a circuit using Black Mountain Road and Old Bump Road or include Twin Bridges.
