Double track/4-wheeler path to the basin below Lionhead but does not go on top of Lionhead. Very steep and loose at times. The Lionhead basin is beautiful, but if the goal is to get on top of the mountain take the CDT trail instead.

Motor users, the trail on the MVUM is #217, which continues around to the south at the junction with the faint singletrack.
