This is a favorite hike near the top of Mirror Lake. It takes you up to a some small lakes with amazing views of Kamas Lake and Pyramid mountain. The Steiner Scout camp on Scout Lake will disappear slowly behind you as you crest a scree saddle. Once over the saddle you will see Cutthroat Lake just for a moment at a nice little hairpin before dropping down to Kamas Lake.
Once you pass Kamas Lake you descend deeper into thick forest and may be climbing over a bit of dead fall. Watch for the new official alignment, which has been signed.
