Cruisy and simple predominately climbing trail, it follows an old mining water race for most of its length and is the main access trail for the climb to the Black Stump trailhead and a range of other trail options. It also provides an alternate exit from the trail network via a short connector to Cascade Dam Rd, offering an easy roll back down into town.
