Loop 1 is approximately 3km long from the trail head and back. It is very wide and easy to follow. Riders of all skill levels can enjoy this loop. There is a small, rocky, downhill section near the end of the main trail just before it connects back to Short Loop. Inexperienced riders may choose to walk this section but can be ridden with caution for them as well.
