mtb There are several places on the Loop that have significant overgrowth you will ride through, especially going CCW through the powerlines stretches. Definitely wear bug repellent if you don't want ticks. Area needs pruning Dryview

mtb There are a lot of hard ice pack sections on the trail, especially the north-facing long descents when riding CCW in the latter half of Loop, which are dicey even with studded fat tires. Variableview
