A nice easy trail, great for those wanting to get into mountain biking to practice on. The climb is nice and gradual, there are a few challenging punchy sections to keep you honest, switchbacks are easy for beginners to learn on. If only doing Lower Harpold there is a great view point before beginning your fast flowing descent. One of the first couple trails in the region to be open in the spring.

Lower rockt sections have some water erosion. The grasslands area trail is very overgrown with rocks hiding in the brush. Watch for cows!

Counted about 10 bear turds on the trail, bringing some bells is probably a good idea.
