This is the Lower Magic Link and is a rocky corner filled mixture of technical climbs, descents and flow with a few avoidable air time features built in periodically. The surface ranges from sand, to granite gravel and rocks and traction can be an issue especially in summer. There are corner filled descents and climbs, a stream crossing with some low hanging branches to negotiate and some small drop offs to get some air time on. An awesome trail that makes the most of the terrain and somehow retains a flowy feel despite the terrain.
This trail can be ridden in either direction. If you ride the upper Magic Link Extension, into the Lower Magic Link Extension you simply continue on the trail keeping to the lower slopes of the mountain. If you continue on this trail you will eventually exit the trail on Ottawa Road.
This trail is on private land. Please respect the environment and other trail users and consider donating to Table Mountain Bikers.
