Lower Pine starts at the parking area and intersection with Road Noise. It was re-routed in May 2024 for reasons of erosion and sustainability. Whereas before it contained rocky fall-line, sections, these have been contoured providing a very enjoyable experience. There is still a technical rocky section at the bottom. Ride it as part of a larger loop from any of many areas, or start at the trailhead which can be reached off the Zuzax entrance on I-25.
