As the name implies, this trail is below the Highline trail, and can be used to make a loop with Highline, or as a partial connector between Rodeo Lot parking lot & Two Creek parking lot area.

Watch out for some narrow sections of trail where bad tire placement or putting a foot down might cause you to tumble all the way down to the road below. The trail kisses Owl Creek Rd., which allows access towards Two Creeks parking lot, but it also continues upwards at its southwest end with switchbacks that connect up to the Highline trail.
