A beautiful trail that zig zags up Emerald Mountain through the Oaks and higher up you get to the aspens. The trail isn't easy the entire way, there are a few rock gardens, and one turn in particular that takes some real skill to clean. The rocks are sharp an spaced out enough to catch your pedals.
As you get higher up the trail switchbacks go to the edge of the ridge, so each turn often has a really beautiful view of the valley. Each turn gets better as you get higher. Once you pass the main rocky section, it is easier as you get to the top.
