All optional trails are off of this loop. It is a firm single track tread, for the most part. There are a few places where you will encounter some sand (in the areas marked Desert, and Sandbox), and there are some small moguls and easy hills. Watch for wildlife and users on other trails (pedestrians, dogwalkers, horses, users on the fire roads). Check yourself for ticks after riding (Lone Star ticks are most common). Most riders park at the main lot on Rocky Point Road. Get there early, as this is a popular trail with limited parking. Bring lots of water and snacks.
