Major Tom is primarily used for descending but many users enjoy climbing it, thus why its marked as bi directional. At its peak, you have a great view of Moore's Wall across a nice picket fence pasture. The trail quickly drops into the forest and traverses its way through hardwoods and some rotodendrum thickets via berms and a few bridges. Now its all down, there's a couple of quick climbs tossed in to boot. It will round you out into Kessel Run trail then taking you back to the farmhouse where you can continue another lap.
