This is the western-most trail at the Vail Lake Resort. This trail is on a private KOA campground and is subject to the property operating hours. There are races on these trails in the early MTB season - recommend calling to ensure the trails are open for public use. This trail has a couple of deceptive climbs - short and very steep - that make the rider maintain the right gears and momentum or else end up hopping off mid-slope to push to the top. A couple sections are subject to erosion and not frequently repairs or maintained - recommend a cautious first run to pick the best line The trail follows the ridge, has a great view, and ends with a high speed, straight drop for maximum fun.

uphills are very steep all i can say really

This was a way biggest task to ride with my wife than I thought it would be. Mostly because of the sand that's gathered in some dangerous areas surprisingly. Not doable for the whole family with kids. I'd say its at the harder end of what a Blue Trail is.
