Från norr startar stigen till vänster om maskinspåret. En stock visar vägen. Stigen ansluter till maskinspåret igen efter 100 m. Efter 2/3-delar sneddar man av maskinspåret till vänster och följer utlagda stammar.
Från söder tar man av från maskinspåret till vänster efter bara några meter och följer några utlagda björkstammar. Efter att man passerat "saltpinnen" svänger stigen skarp höger och korsar maskinspåret. Efter ytterligare ca 150 m så tar man av till vänster vid en uppställd stock, om man vill följa Maskinstigen, fortsätter man rakt fram här kommar man in på Hällebergstigen.
