This trail is generally ridden down, but is bi-directional. I would not say it is better up or down, but to get to the bottom of it, you would have to ride down a mix of dirt access road and washed out tight single track.
Riding down it you pedal quite a bit through the transitions and the turns are pretty tight with a little bit of berm to them. Several sections run through meadows that are probably easy ski runs in the winter. The final turn of the singletrack is at another back country access point on an old double track that drops you to the bottom of Monarch Lift.
Service Road Atlas is a free to use, community-driven service for viewing and creating reports on the numerous back-country service roads around B.C. and Alberta.
