The trail winds through the woods a little, then starts a gradual assent while riding over a dirt mound here and there. Most novice riders will feel the pain pushing through this section. In wet months the beginning of the trail could get a little muddy.
History:
This trail was a result of re-route to take the original trails off the levee in 2013 and get it into the woods. The trail was closed in 2015 due to ongoing maintenance on the west side levee. In January 2020 BVMBA was given the go to re-establish the trail. After the levee maintenance, the original section of trail was wiped off the earth along with all the trees where the start of the trail begins. In May 2020, a re-route to connect it to Good-to-Go was put in.
