Moon Dust is a fun offshoot trail you can do after climbing most of the Happy Camp fire road. It starts out easy then gets steeper and looser as you get to the middle. Then you end up in the valley and you can take the fire road back to the bottom of where Happy Camp starts.

Very overgrown, like riding in bushes. Rutted, which is fine, makes for some technical riding, but not in good condition overall.

Wound up dropping it on a gravel bike. Very overgrown trail, lots of soft sand. Steep section is NOT recommended for gravels, mellows out but very overgrown.
