Lots of deep ruts, pedal catchers and overgrown sections with gorse, matagouri and broom. Ok on an ebike but hard work otherwise

Running snow free and dry, but very rugged. Expect to walk your bike through a handful of foot deep ruts. Track will need a lot of work soon

A tough climb out of Arthurs point. Gorse bushes scratched us badly. Difficult to pedal due to deep rut in rocks. Trail washed out in a few spots. I wouldn’t do it again. The following climb up to Ben Lomond saddle wasn’t much more rideable either

overgrown, washed out hence the pedals hit the dirt on either side of the trench. Spikey shrubs puncture your skin through your gloves. Some parts are not ridable.

        Beautiful scenery!!!

Hard to pedal. Beautiful views. I probably walked half of it.
