Mount Mastiff Details
The climbers path up Mount Mastiff offers adventure for the alpine seeking adventurist and the foolhardy. If the first half of this trail did not already involve enough hike-a-bike, then the second and much harder half will get you your share. Climbing the Southeast ridge, the first half allows access to some unique views not found on much of the rest of the Nason Ridge trail system.
Perhaps use the trail to access the first knoll allowing you to look North into the valley and lakes below. This would make for a great primitive camp spot during late summer!
Trail not recommended for 99% of you. But for the 1% who seeks the adventure and access to high mountain views and slabs of rock, this is one unique option to Washington State.
Access off of the North Nason Ridge Trail

Don't do it. But if you do, plan for being REALLY far out there. With Fall Hazard.
