Mpithi Trail is a very popular short walk starting and ending at the Kloof Falls picnic site and includes a loop.
1. Cross Kloof Falls Road at the pedestrian gate across the road from the map board. Enter the trail through the gate next to the trail map and wind your way along the banks of the river and through the forest.
2. At the A-frame bridge (RM4), do not cross the bridge, but continue up the hill
3. At the top of the hill is a split (RM5)
a. The left split winds its way through the forest along the banks of the Molweni River to the bottom of the Falls (RM6). From there continue up to the top of the falls, or retrace your steps back to Kloof Falls Road. Continue straight at the split and enjoy the views from the grasslands and the top of the falls.
b. Continue over the bridge and down to the bottom of the falls, or retrace your steps to Kloof Falls Road
