I live near Nashville, TN and made a trip to Clarksville recently to check out the trails there. I was pretty disappointed with both of them. I went on a Sunday, so I rode North Ford counter-clockwise. It seemed like I was doing a ton of climbing for not much fun/downhill. Also, there is a sign at the beginning of the trail with double black diamonds on it. The sign warns that North Ford is an expert-level trail with rocks, drops, etc. I am an intermediate rider at best and nothing at North Ford posed any kind of a challenge, outside of the climbing. I would rank this trail as beginner. It's not a bad trail if you're in the area but I would not go out of my way to ride here. The other major trail systems around Nashville are significantly better.

North Ford St is definitely better ridden clockwise. That said, Rotary park is much better. The pumptrack area has the most mtb specific features. "Hardtail Hell" that runs parallel to Hole #1 at the disc golf course is probably the gnarliest trail segment in middle TN.
