This gentle walking trail starts from the car park and crosses a stream before climbing past the lift and following the contour of the mountain around to the south. The path is mostly wide and smooth and makes for easy hiking. There are frequent rock-flanked drains cut across the trail that must be stepped over or otherwise negotiated - they won't be a problem for most hikers, but a novice may need a hand across.
