Super simple but fun single track in the back of Northside Park. Easiest access is from the secondary entrance lot closer to the bay. Ride straight in over the remnants of the old BMX track keeping the ball fields on your left. When you see the gravel/old sidewalk leading to the right follow it. Right before the footbridge hang a left onto the trail. There are a lot of paths back in the woods from people fishing and locals just cruising the woods over the years but if you bear to the right, you'll follow the trail pretty easily. You will pop out of the woods for a short section at a maintenance lot but if you follow the tree line you will pop back into the woods behind a bathroom building. It was marked and you can see the poles but vandals have removed the signs. The local club, Bike Norfolk will surely be fighting the battle to keep it marked but once you do it once, you'll be ok, it's pretty simple. Wear pants or bug spray up since it's right on a bog, there's TONS of bugs.
