Relative to other fire roads it is fast and smooth - heavily used by Gravel bikers as its the least rough/technical descent off the mountain.

The first pleasant fire road I've ridden in Marin County. Gentle grade, pretty smooth. From the bottom you have to step over a locked gate that says Service Vehicles Only.
