Agree that the interior trails are generally better. A few muddy spots still but most are rideable or easy enough to get around. Went CCW so the loose rocky parts were downhill and manageable. Amazing green right now! Rim Trail is not part of the official loop, but probably the best flow trail of them all. Rides great in both directions.

Wonderful little set of xc trails ranging from gravelly fire roads at times (Olmstead loop) to more technical single tracks (interior trails). Novice to intermediate.

Mostly doubletrack, some overgrown singletrack. I rode it CCW. Has some pretty chunky downhill sections which are fun but short, lots of climbing, had to get off and hike a couple spots but I'm a noob so take it with a grain of salt. Knickerbocker creek was easily passable, went on a Friday afternoon and didn't see anyone else on the trail. I think next time I come I'll check out some of the interior singletrack trails, this one seems like its mostly used by equestrians.
