It was my first time riding Kicking Horse yesterday. I have to say this is an Epic track!
Kicking Horse needs more trails like this top to bottom . Less flow, more tech.
You'll save money building, and more people will come spend money to ride. There's plenty of flow on the mountain, and that's well and good. But having to take a bunch of flow to get to tech trails doesn't make a lot of sense. Especially with the incredible alpine and sub-alpine terrain the resort has to offer. Use more of that raw, natural terrain. It's just begging to be utilized! It might surprise you how many people really want it.
PS. I have to say, your sister resort(s) in Fernie is my favourite bike park in BC and Mont-Sainte-Anne is my favourite bike park of all time for this reason. It's raw and natural with lots of line choice. That's really hard to beat. Keep up the good work! \m/

Very hammered out since racing was held on it, but it adds to the appeal in my opinion. Lots of roots, tire killing rocks, and little G out holes in the brake lines. Stay on your toes and you can ride it blind. It's a blast.

Yeeeehaw! Note the confusing signage at the top. I thought I was dropping into "Super Berm" - I came in extra hot and after screaming down a few steep slabs, I realized this was not the trail I thought I was on and needed to buckle up for a whole different kind of ride. If you go into this expecting a DH world cup style expert single track, you're going to have a great time! If your are expecting a smooth, bermy blue run, you're gonna have a bad time!
