There's a technical descent that has a metal pipe sticking out of the ground near the bottom, hence the name "Pipehill". Nice singletrack climb leading up, which also connects to nearby neighbourhood entrance to Erindale Park. Unfortunately erosion and fallen trees can make parts of this trail unridable, so tread carefully.

 muddy and very slippery on the last section with all the roots. very sketchy, wait until dry. consider walking the bike down in the last section.

 Bushy tree down across trail right before north side descent. Can push bike thru but ideally come back with hand saw.

 The city has once again blocked the exit on the Northern end. Must walk out. Pain in the butt

        Yes indeed this is a very black trail bordering on double black. the end is gnarly, especially on a hardtail. Could use some 'light maintenance to improve flow and exits.

        The trail starts off with a steep climb full of fun challenging rooted sections, once the climb is finished it levels off with a flat path. After the trail gets very very steep, about a fort-five degree angle. The downhill is covered in roots and makes you gulp, The trail ends off with another steep down hill and leads to the green trail, The black rating doesn’t lie.
