After crossing Twin Creek, the trail immediately climbs exhausting switchbacks through the forest. Once you get to the top, you're ready for Moscow Mountain's longest and (in my opinion) best downhills, full of switchbacks, flow sections and the longest wooden bridges on the planet. You'll end up back on the road, about .5 miles above your car.

Access Info

Drive up Moscow Mountain Road and park at either Gnat Creek, Trail Landing, or Warnick. Access Lower PLT off the road just above Trail Landing, or access PLT via Cabin Trail or Lower LaFortunes.
