mtb Finally got in and rebuilt the exit of the chute yesterday. Three of us added a significant amount of heavy rock work filling the trench that had developed below the wood. Should be way, way more resilient to water and brake dragging now. Variableview

mtb Completed a rework of the slab entrance today. There's no redirecting the water here (it comes out the ground) so instead we raised the trail bed with rock to get the trail out the water, also slightly shifted the alignment so the main line now sets you up nice and high on the slab.

We added more drainage below, but haven't tunneled under the bridge yet: I'm worried about the bridge collapsing if we just remove material,so looking for some pipe to put under there to support it. 		Variableview

mtb Drainage repair is holding for the most part but perhaps a diversion (Mattock smashing) under and beyond the ladder bridge to get the flow off the bottom part would achieve better flow control. Only an idea. 💡 Wetview

mtb Reworked the slab zone to try and improve flow and drainage. Notably cleared all the loose rocks, armoured and smoothed some of the run out, added drainage, and closed the bail out line to riders left.

A big part of closing the bailout line is in the hope of controlling water damage: we added a series of log dams in here that should slow water run off from the slab, hopefully reducing future water damage to the run out. With the smoothed exit the slab is a lot less sketchy now (and way more fun than the bailout), so hopefully it keeps the overall difficulty at a similar level. 		Idealview
