Don't worry about the overgrown vegetation reports, very rideable. I did find branches on trail in 3 spots that appeared deliberately placed. I...

Overgrown vegetation, but doesn't hinder single track riding.

Good for if many other trails are wet, or you have dogs and don't want to get in people's way. It doesn't dry out faster than other trails but with so few people riding this trail it really doesn't matter.

Few snow patches hanging around but it’s mostly dry.

It’s clearly rarely used trail, therefore there’s a lot of overgrown areas and some wash outs. I suggest North to South direction for better feeling. It also makes good part of Loop: portion of The Rail Trail->Princess Di->Three Mile Canyon road (check it on GaiaGPS) There is relatively safe (in dry weather only!) culvert you can use to cross under I-80 @ Tollgate/Promontory Overpass. Initial climb from there is grueling but after culmination it’s ups
