I rode this for the first time yesterday. Mostly a fast trail that is not a double black with the exception of one very steep and loose pitch. On said section, there is quite a large drop that bottomed out my suspension despite the loose rocky runout being quite steep.
The first half is fast, and not particularly technical but has some jumps built into it, all seems able to be ridden around. The second half has the steep stuff. Also, be on your toes as many jumps or short pops are followed closely by rock sections. This is an old school style trail. I still had lots of fun, and clearing the steep section with the drop added a thrill.

I have not ridden this trail yet, but judging by the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uehWEcJDMw) I don't see why it's rated as double-black diamond? Perhaps 'nice, flowy Blue-Rated' is more appropriate? Not being a jerk about this, or minimizing anyone's build-time and effort, but... it doesn't look like any double-black diamond rated trail that I've ever seen. Nice vista lookoff; I'd suggest that the couple of short, steep, loam sections be rerouted as if this trail gets popular, those will be deep, brake-drag trenches in no time.

Clear top to bottom. Great condition! Steep sections are loose and dry but sooo fun. Retro Teeter totter just before trailhead is still (barely) rideable.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
