Raging Ridge Trail is the official trail name of this new two way trail. Raging Ridge trail is a multi-use trail for Mountain Bikers & Hikers only. ( NO HORSES NO DIRT BIKES or ORV USE.)

The Raging Ridge trail now starts at the top of the newly minted climbing trail Upward Mobility and extends along the ridgetop as the singletrack conduit to the Raging River descending trails. At official debut in May of 2018, the descending trail, No Service, can be found by riding to the very end of the Raging Ridge trail. With the generous donations by you, the Raging Ridge trail functions as the backbone to a future entire network of trails accessed and descending from it.

This trail features intermediate level singletrack that winds through tall forest as well as clearcut areas that offer impressive views. At the far end of the trail, more advanced and much more technical trails begin. If steep, rough trails are not your thing, consider stopping and making this an out and back ride.

Re the comments about two way being dangerous, IMO that’s valid, but only for RR1.

I came across 3 groups of riders going up, one on a faster corner and they were mindful of the possibility of people going up and there was no issue. IDD you’re Worried about it, take the fire road for just that segment. Otherwise it’s a nice trail both ways, would be a shame to ride up the fire road and miss it.

This should be a one-way trail. It is not safe for uphill travel.

Biggest problem I have with this trail is that it's two-way. I was there on a busy day and almost got hit twice while climbing. It also took away from the fun while descending since I had to ride cautiously for fear of doing the same to other climbers. IMO the trail is not built very well for two-way use since lots of features allow for, or even promote, high speed descending. Other than that, it's a nice trail, and the view of Mt. Rainier is great. I actually bought a (Timber) bell after riding this trail, which I will use on two-way trails from now on. If I went back here I would at least ride the road up instead. Or maybe just run a few laps on Upward Mobility/Poppin' Tops/Flow State, which were lots of fun too.

Smooth flow trail most of the way down. Bottom half is dusty and a bit more rocky. Bottom is also so overgrown you can't see more than 6 ft ahead, which is scary because people go up this trail as well.
