From the small town of Stavros until the village of Rentina close to the lake Volvi there's a magnificent route. Man-made and natural bridges are crossing river Rihios. In the first 4 km you are riding in a big fireroad.After that there's a doubletrack trail until you reach the byzantine castle of Rentina and 1 km further the chapel of St.Marina.

Access Info

By car:Take the road from Stavros to Αsprovalta. Before you reach juction to the national road turn left to the fire-road.After 2 km you will reach the trail.
By bike: Take the road to the footbal stadium of Stavros.Before you reach it turn left to the fireroad and go straight ahead.After 2 km turn left(there's only one turn) and after 2 km you will find the trail. You can also take it from the opposite side and start the trail form St.Marina's chapel.
