Purpose built mountain bike trail. Flowy descent from Road 5 to the main park road, or fun climb that only has a few steep spots if you go the other way. There are some tricky turns, and some stream crossings with non-trivial climbs out.
There is a 3-way intersection within sight of the main park road (bottom of the trail) which split the original Rippin, going farther south to the bottom of Arab Hill road at the high voltage power lines, and the "new" end of Rippin (which is the track log on this TrailForks listing), which goes farther north through some wet spots to meet the main park road near the sawmill.

Access Info

"New" bottom entrance: go south on Highland Park Road past the sawmill, and look for an "R" sign just on the left just as you start going uphill on the road.
"Original" bottom entrance: go south on Highland Park Road, past the sawmill, and up to the Arab Hill Road/power lines intersection. Make a 180 degree turn to the left (turning onto Arab Hill Road) and pick up the single track just inside the woods from the road.
"Top" entrance: enter from Arab Hill Road, opposite from the power lines, near the top of the horse pen (which is the fenced area under the power lines). There are two single track trailheads within 10 feet of each other: Rippin is the downhill trailhead, and has an "R" sign about 20 feet in. "Ready to Rip" is the uphill trailhead (closer to Road 5).
