Parece mentira que este sendero haya estado toda la vida ahí. Semiescondido entre los helechos, el piso es de tierra arenosa, no se embarra apenas ni siquiera en invierno. El sendero serpentea en un valiente robledal, sobreviviendo en una zona plagada de eucaliptos. Hemos tenido que cortar algún árbol de pequeño porte para poder meter los manillares, aún así, hay zonas en las que hay que apuntar bien. Hasta Enero 2021 el trail se adentraba en un eucaliptal y ganaba pendiente, pero debido a las talas, resulta obligado desviarse a mano derecha hacia el trail Canteras
