Trail heads north and up from the main trail down to the reservoir. Some awesome new switchbacks getting to the top and a nice cut-out on the east side of the peak to avoid some hike-a-bike. Nice views of the city and the reservoir from the top and a moderate flow down and intersects with the Lake-Loop trail.

      BIG tree down on Rooster Tree, perhaps half-way along toward the lake. We did one cut with a 12" saw, but the butt-end, which was also on the trail, was a wee bit much for the little hand-saw...
