mtb Only one tree down that was a real blocker but I was able to move it. Needs some pruning but not too bad to follow. I love these remote trails! Dryview

mtb Only rode Eastern half (from Ouch junction heading East.) All good. Western half looks like not getting much traffic. Dryview

mtb Very overgrown for the first (western) half. Is this still an open trail? Other closed areas nearby had good signage, but I didn't see any on this trail. The trail passes within a few feet of a "wildlife guzzler" with a sign staying to stay 500 feet away. Maybe "Ouch" would be a better alternative. Dryview

mtb As another person said western Taj is very overgrown I tried to ride it west to east the direction recommended on this app. The turn in is even over grown and a bit hard to recoginize I thought I’d still try to but I turned back maybe 300 Yates in since it was so overgrown. It’s still possible to get through but you’re going to get whacked with a lot of crap maybe it’s worth it for the decent?? Dryview

mtb The Eastern half is in great shape. But the Western half (the part bypassed by Ouch) is overgrown and horse-pocked. Still rideable, but the scratchy oak and exposed horse-pocked sidehills make this part extra-challenging. It's obvious the vast majority of bike traffic is now opting (understandably) for Ouch, kind of a bummer to see Western Taj degrading to horse trail... Dryview

mtb Started down this trail from the west side, but someone has put rocks across the cutoff, leading people up Ouch instead. Is there a reason for this? Dryview

mtb Significant overgrowth on the trail. The ride was a mix of route finding and bushwhacking. I really like the trail but it is in rough shape right now. Dryview
