Steep, fast singletrack with sharp corners and narrow bridges over gullies.
Two access routes:
1. Continue climbing the York Creek Mine Road past the top of York with a Fork. A couple of spots are too steep to ride up, but the ridable parts are fun. It joins Rumhead about 300 m below the top. Push up for the good views..
2. South on York Creek Road to 0.7 km past junction 109. Take the left fork onto the Ironstone Fire Lookout road. Go around the locked gate (bicycles allowed) and climb or push the steep rocky road ~3 km to the saddle in the ridge north of the Ironstone Fire Lookout Tower. Turn north for Rumhead
This trail is unsanctioned.
