Sandy Flow is a trail in the OxBow Trail System, which is located on the east/southeast side of the Salt Creek in Ashland, NE, next to a disc golf course. This 1.5 mile loop is ridden from the parking lot on 13th and Silver Street.

Sandy Flow has a historic land marker at the start of the singletrack, a memorial site for a pioneer child who lost his life. Once you get into the singletrack, Sandy Flow is a bit more open than Sandy Wash and should offer some higher speeds. As of 04/30/17 when this is being written, the trail needs traffic to help develop this flow. It currently has seen very little use. Roughly 1/3 of a mile is cut short if opting out of Jaxon's Loop, which is a blue/black section of Sandy Flow. This loop has an optional ridge drop line, steeper climbing up onto a ridge, a double jump followed up by Jax Man's Drop, which is a 3.5 foot drop, and some larger step-up's.

Sandy Flow has around 30 Technical Trail Features (TTF's) in all, including larger berms, progressive jumps, skinny's, and jumps. There are ride arounds for nearly every feature, except on Jaxon's Loop. Overall, this trail is slightly more difficult than Sandy Wash but still a trail the family could ride on. There may be a couple spots where the kids would have to hike their bikes but that's a good teaching opportunity for parents Smile
